Bandonegro are Polish musicians who win the hearts of listeners all over the world with their new look at tango, combining tradition and modernity. They are considered the best European tango group of the young generation and rising stars of this genre.
Their unique musical ideas, passion and perfect sense of style made them perform at the largest festivals in the world. They started their adventure at the age of 15 winning the “Pif Castelfidardo” competition in Italy (Nuevo Tango category).
In 2016, the band appeared on the Polish music scene, combining tango with elements of jazz, rock and electronics. They participated in the largest concert tour in Poland, “Atmasfera Tour”, giving 16 indoor concerts throughout the country. Despite their age, they have already performed in countries such as Argentina, Germany, Italy, France, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Great Britain.
The Hola Astor project is a fresh idea, innovative style and a new musical language. Beautifully arranged, selected pieces by Astor Piazzolla were juxtaposed with the original compositions of Bandonegro.
Cooperation with the young leaders of the Polish jazz scene: Dawid Kostka – guitar and Mateusz Brzostowski – drums makes the sound exceptionally fresh, catchy and up-to-date.
